Dead
Everyone is dead.
There is not a single human left.
Just corpses lying in their death beds.
Most believe that having a life equates to living.
But most people live to be seventy-eight, and die among the grieving.
And in the moment that you are being laid in the casket, you recall all of your mistakes.
You think of things you would have done differently, when you were "alive".
But little do you know, that never in yout time did you have a life.
Because despite your many "accomplishments", you were always as dead as you now perceive yourself.
And now here you are, another body in the ground.
A pile of bones to be added to the collection.
A body that the human soul long ago left.
