Dead End

They say it's better in the end, of course, our path is going to have a few tunnels. Long tunnels, short tunnels, we may even meet a few people on the way, saying, “The end of the tunnel is always bright.” But, what if that tunnel has a dead end, nowhere to run? Stuck in the dark. Where do you go? You can't turn back and go right through the situations of the past, the ones that have broken you and made you… As if the past was the future, if the past is the future then what is the present? The Present will be the past, just a memory stuck at the back of your head in a minute, second, less...? So what's the point?

You never give up in the light, everything is visible, so easy.

Why do you only give up in the dark? It's hard to see and you don't know what to do, bumping in to walls, slicing open a new scabs that will only scar. Is that why I still have all these scars on the top left of my wrist? As if Depression is only a faze. Looking down seeing my shadow, a dark figure following my every motion, but it's stuck, it's my puppet, I direct it's every move... Then it always leaves me, I'm in the dark.... Like a fake friend, maybe it's the end, learning to live half alive with scars who stay in my skin like tattoos that can only be covered up with a smile, a fake smile that can only lead others to believe that I’m hurt, no crazy, maybe insane also that I should get the help I deserve before I go on and hurt myself over and over and over again, when I close my eyes, all I see is darkness, all I feel is hate, and all I can think about is what problem I have to take on next. Each scar a memory from how many people stabbed me and expected me to live and love myself once again, oh yes, I’ve tried. It’s hard to love something hated by the all, it’s too late. I’m on my own… I feel like Crap... Flush... There goes the toilet…
