Silence so loud it screams in your ear

Ringing inside your head like a never-ending screech

Echoing through the mountains of your mind

Muting the outside

Left alone inside your own mind

A fog as a barrier between you and me

Blurry like ripples on water

Disorienting

Isolating

You try to scream

You try to yell

You try to fight against the current

That is drowning your vioice

The silence pulls you down

Muffles your thoughts

Carries you away from the land of peace

And no one understands what it's like to be

Disconnected from society
