Deadly Beautiful

Her majestic wings they unfold like paper Like the cut away angels linked in a taper Her hair is like blue fire but cascades like water This angel so divine, her beauty a crime A face of innocence with those doe-shaped eyes But you don't see those majestic wings pinioned Surrounded by dejection like participation ribbons Her eyes full of despair with their piercing hot glare That lays you out bare because you let yourself care Care for this beautiful fallen creature For the angel is superior said your complex in a whisper With the delicate wings and the beauty that sings Give ear to her songs and you’ll find she does not belong In the heavens above with the peaceful white doves, But below in the fire that matches her ire What a piteous little thing Like a moth with torn wings Her songs of deceit mark her approaching defeat I hope you didn’t fall, For her games and her claws Because the beautiful ones, Are the most dangerous of them all
