Deadly Disease

War
Is a cancer,
The raging sickness in our world
Cutting the strings of innocent puppets
As our lining comes unfurled

War
Is not a promised thing,
It is merely a choice
Just a temporary gratitude
For fools who want a stronger voice

War
Will not be eternal,
But those involved never fully make amends
And the pain of their mental scars
Will unfailingly make them fight again

War
Is like any illness,
Deadly, awaiting a cure
Till we expel it from our system
Devils will dance to this destructive overture

War
Is not unstoppable,
Though it will take more then one
But I, I will keep on trying
Till the war is done
