Hello High School Goodbye Junior High New Year New me Do I plan on going to college? Yes Hello Mary J Nice to meet you I’m already making friends Will you be my new best friend? Mary J Mary J My heart rate goes double When I’m with you Fill my lungs with your corruption I can’t breath without you Benign turn malignant With you, in my throat I may look tired But my brain is like Clogged I can’t tell what’s real and what’s not This is going to be The best 4 years Of my life. Pass the exam Go to Mary J Fail an exam Go to Mary J Instead of Homework Go to Mary J Before and after Breakfast, lunch, And dinner Go to Mary J We’ve been through The rough times The happy times I don’t think I have a problem Hello High school Goodbye Junior High New year New me Do I plan on going to college? Yes Booze is in Me and booze met Over the summer Oh Booze With you my Heart weakens With so much love It’s sometimes hard to breathe with you around that you spew Everything dizzy With you here Pass the exam Go to Booze Fail an exam Go to Booze Instead of Homework Go to Booze Before and after Breakfast, lunch, And dinner Go to Booze We’ve been through The rough times The happy times And the just Because times through the past two years what do you mean I don’t have Enough credits to pass? I don’t think I have a problem Hello high school Goodbye Mary J Goodbye Booze Goodbye old me New year new me I plan on graduating on time and for a college to accept me. I can’t believe I was blinded for all these years. While focused Mary J calls No Mary J Im busy ‘Man you not The same no More I miss The old you” Hey don’t Mary Don’t tempt me While focused Booze calls No Booze I Got work To do “come on Have a little Fun just one..” NO! “wow you really have changed” I’ve finally Finished high school Good bye high school Hello college life Thinking I’ll be alright Old friends keep Showing their Faces everywhere Can I really Keep this Up and Stay focused? Nope I can’t And since i Can’t I’ve Made a friend I can’t get rid Of, …Cancer. Now I have A lump in My throat And it feels Like it’s Laughing at me “Do you really Think you’ll Live long enough To even finish college” No. “What’s the point, You only have A few months To live anyways” You’re right So I turn to A new friend Named Z-Bar. Mary J, Booze, And Z-Bar Never had all of them in the same room at the same time. This maybe There first and last time Together with me If I make it. Hopefully I Don’t, because I don’t want to.
