The Deadly Killer

Old, worsening mansion,

Covered in a green killer.

It sucks away joyful life,

Taking away the warmth you once embodied.

It suffocates the place.

The green growth continues to flourish,

Sprouting out of every crack in the wall,

Consuming the mansion within,

Leaving nothing but sorrow and despair behind.

It suffocates the place it dwells in.

Hanging like web-work from an attic,

The fungus takes over the dwelling.

Watch out for its grasping tendrils,

It will mesmerize and control you like Roderick’s gaze.

It suffocates the place it dwells in, leaving nothing behind.

This result of decay will not go away,

For there is one more life to be grasped,

The living fungus within the house,

Roderick…he will suffer like the mansion.

It suffocates the place it dwells in, leaving nothing behind save destruction.
