Deadly Taste

A deadly poison

A spooky spell

Causes everyone to dwell

Lures you in & spits you out

A shiny surface.

A pretty face.

Stains red all over this place.

Burrows inside your heart and soul,

till it finds a new home

A sicking sweet smell

A tantalizing taste

One hit is all it takes

Shackles and chains.

It will have you.

Bowed down like the puppy dog you are.

It. He. She. We. Them.

It has no gender.

It has no preference.

It infects us all.

and we always fall

only to break

Who needs IT!

A world with  out it is Bleak and Dull.

a world with out it is for the lonely and broken hearted

there is no pain

there is no beauty

Who needs It?

a broken heart looking for it's missing piece.

who needs it?

me...
