Deaf or ...

Job 8:13-14

13 Such is the destiny of all who forget God;
the hope of the godless perishes,
14 whose trust is in something futile,
whose security is a spider’s web.

Deaf or …

We think, then sink and after go slowly down

We don’t have far to go as we’re near the bottom

We look up to fly and touch the sky colored brown

We float on our energy that is surely ill-begotten

We cry and try to improve self at expense of others

To be admired in search for an empty praise by all

Our conscience weeps as our heart does not bother

Embracing the demise to come as Life Himself calls
