The deafening roar of silence

The deafening roar of silence

when silence leaves me deaf

I shall cover up with music

Music is my escape

Its the place i feel safe

I listen to music when the silence is too loud

For the silence 

Is deafening

My ears bleed from the roar

So i put on my headphones

And escape the pain

Music allows me to get away

Even if only for a small while

For nothing lasts forever

Songs will be lost

Along side people

So i enjoy the music while its here

For you never know 

When the day will come

When i can no longer cover the silence

For the ones that are silent have burdens nobody can ever understand

So when i am silent and lost in thought

Just know my sanity has sought

Redemption 

For when i listen to the silence

It roars with its sharp maw

For the silence knows im on the edge

And its my biggest nightmare 

To see the silence win

For i know not even the strongest wills last forever

And i fear the day when it roars and i cant ignore it
