Dear 13 Year Old Jessica


I see you staring in that mirror.

I see you comparing yourself to the other girls.

Their long blonde hair and 

Their perfect, skinny bodies.

But you my darling are different.

You have curly red hair that you will soon begin to love. 

You have a lovely hourglass figure that boys will adore and girls will long for. 

I wish you could have learned to love the "imperfections" sooner

Because my darling,

You are perfect.
