Dear

Dear he who shall not be named

you absolutely ruined me

i saw stars in your eyes as cliche as it sounds

i heard canaries sing when you talked to me

i dreamed of someone like you

i accepted the gifts you gave me because you said i deserve to be treated

i accepted you taking care of me because i take care of others so much

i felt a protector when you held me

i felt a friend who confided in me

i noticed tension when it was just us

i felt companionship

i saw a change that should have been a warning

i questioned why you were so defensive and insecure in your masculinity  and sexuality

i saw the texts and the calls coming on repeat

i angered you when i did what i wanted

i annoyed you when i didnt put you first

but you know what you did to me?

you made me experience a relationship with out a lable

you made me vulnerbale to you just so you could mold me

you made me wake up into reality and i realized you had a hold that only you could keep

and abused my vulnerability

you wanted me when you needed me

you wanted my time, companionship, affection, my heart

without any of yours

you belittled and tore me down when i tried to build myself

you gave me false love
