Dear, 15
As I fall into a hole of emptiness and despair,
I keep reaching for something that is no longer there
Suffocating from the guilt and regret that I caused myself,
I landed on a flat surface where in the hours of darkness I found myself dancing with the devil.
What I once thought was dead, still remained alive
A word without meaning is like a person without a soul
People are people and some people you must let go
My love for you still expands
Every single part of me was in your hands
I could not bare to see you go when you were the focus of my plans
please do not desert me you are what I need most
You were the cause of an unforgettable pain
but the beauty of my love and the hope that merges continue to cross lanes
I keep trying to figure out where we lost connection
but eventually I began to live a life as if you had never existed.
Now our past is completely dead
and our future is nothing but a dream
everything you are,
and everything I am, is not what it seems
I know I am not the path you want now
who knows if I will ever be
You were something I could never understand
Something I could never see
Even though the moments we shared have faded into nothing
I always believed our nothing was still something
It is unbelievable how far I’ve come
but it’s even more unbelievable how till this day it stung
this path I have taken seems to have no end
So here is the end in the letter I send.
Love, Sabrina
