Dear

Dear emotions, Why don't you work? Are you in some kind of shock? Are you stuck? I'm tired of this numbness, I need to feel something. I don't want to feel nothing, I want to feel something to reassure that I still exist, that I am still human, that I am still alive. Is this what the empty word "nothing" means. Dear lump in my throat, Why are you there? Do you like resting there? Are you mad because I try to hold back the sobs that accompany you? Do you feel the sadness I feel? Is that why you appear? Just go away, why must you threaten to break free?
