Dear Al(cohol),

Like darkness

it consumes you at night.

the black screen of the tiny TV with the VCR player built into it, urple, glammed out by stickers on each side in the room FILLED with the stuffed animals in which you would try to hide in every time…

but then someone would find you and youd have to go out and make nice, even though you were scared because you didn’t want it to hurt you when they left

again.

because you love them so much but theyre maxed out with the demons fit to consume them, and my god did they consume him, and I lost

him.

The pain I feel doesn’t show but it holds on to me, dismissing the urges to ever become

that way.

The alley way is crowded and dark but you walk it anyways

arent you scared?

I guess you dont see that any more huh?

red

warmth of the sun.

I used to be so good at math

I hate to hear people chew

My vision is ascrew

My eyes filled with tears

with the glares from the sun.

Is that how it was for you?

Im, sorry

for your loss.
