Dear Amber,

You keep taking

I don’t give

But every day,

You come back for more

I’m not your mother

I’m not you sister

You’re not my responsibility

You’re not my child

I wish you would leave

You never grow up

And yet

You’ve grown so old

And you age me

More and more, every day

Burn the spark from my eyes

And hide it in your hoodie

I don't love you

I don't care for you

I don't want you

I don't need you

I just hate you
