Dear Amygdala

Goodmorning Amygala, my dear friend

Sometimes I loathe the time we spend

With Thoughts of fear and exaggerated emotion,

You can be so dramatic and cause such a comotion.

In the times of fight and in times of flight,

I ask of you that you just might

Calm down a bit, it's mainly confusion,

Where we anxiously jump to a negative conclusion.

Let's ease the anxiety and prevent the panic

So we don't go crazy and act all manic.

Let's be on the same page, please don't cause sorrow

Goodnight Amygdala, we'll talk tomorrow.
