Dear Anchor,The Anchor of

Dear Anchor,

The Anchor of my soul

You are a constant companion

Never leaving my side

Always pushing me

Always changing me

Never leaving me behind

You are a “yes” surrounded by “no’s”

Always showing me the way

Never stopping me

Never hurting me

Always knowing what to say

You are a light in a dark world

So big and so bright

Always shining

Never fading

Helping me see through the night

You, Hope, is knowing I  have a God who saves

One who died yet still lives

Always there

Always watching

Constantly being the one who gives

“We have this HOPE as an anchor for our soul, firm and secure” - Hebrews 6:19
