Dear Anger

Dear Anger,

Why are you so violent, careless, relentless, and ruthless? What has mankind done to desrve you?

Well you could say, without anger there would be no happiness, sadness, kindess, or anything else

that has to do with any kind of emotion. But Anger, why must you make me shake, shout, and

make me doubt? Doubt, who I am, who loves me, who is with me or against me. Why must you,

Anger, be so red, callous, and unfeeling? I hate you and everything you are. But that's why you

exsist though right? Without you, there would be no feelings of hate. But is that so bad?

Hate and anger is what has taken so many people and things that were precious to us in past times

and possibly future times. Anger, you make me feel warm inside, but not in a good way. It's that

type of warm that grows and grows and grows, until it's boiling hot inside and you can't stand it.

Anger, go away. Why are you even necessary? What is the meaning of this. Anger, go away.

Sincerely,

Iyanla Hawkins
