Dear Animal

One day you may look in the mirror and see an animal.

The human exceptionalism that has been ingrained in your bones and pumped through your blood

Will fade away

Leaving only

Bones and blood

You will look in the mirror and see an ape.

You will look in the mirror and recognize the flaws of living.

The wonders of surviving.

One day you may look in the mirror and see yourself truly for who you are

Which is

Simply

Wonderfully

And

Completely

Animal
