Dear anxieties

Dear Anxieties,

It’s been a while since I’ve heard from you but you seem to be popping up again, so, let me say this once. You’ve controlled me since I moved schools, telling me this and that, forcing me to be quiet not letting me be who I am.

It’s been a long ride, you and. You’ve been in my head for so long that I finally started to talk to you since you were the only one that talked to me. But it’s finally time to say goodbye because I’m sick of you. I’ve made friends, gotten jobs, and the Lord has provided. You are no longer useful. This is a letter saying goodbye.

One more thing I should tell you. If you think you’ve ever won in taking me over. You never have and you never will.

Goodbye,
