Dear Anxiety

Dear Anxiety

You are the reason why I’ve taken so long to write this letter. I just wanted to let you know how difficult it is to live with you.

The feeling you give me is sometimes unbearable. I can’t stand in front of a group or approach new people without a bead of sweat trickling down my neck. You make it hard for me to do the simplest things.

I can tell that you love it when I overthink. Certain conversations I have with people get replayed, regurgitated and twisted a thousand times in my mind. I sometimes think of things that I should have said after a conversation is over.

Why are you so cruel to me?

I know that you like the way our relationship is, but I think its best that we spend some time apart. I try and compromise with you, but it seems like it never works out. `

With you in my life, I’m not able to control the things I should be able to.  I just want my life back and to feel like myself again.

Yours truly,

Miracle
