Dear Anxiety

You had your time

It was shorter than we both expected

You found it sublime

Anxiety, I was affected

Eventually

I took control

I pushed forward confidentially

Rather than falling into your black hole

Now, the sun shines

I reflect in peace

I should have seen the signs

Now, life is a breeze

Oh, anxiety, how you thought you could win

You might be back

Who knows when

If and when of an anxiety attack

Now I know

Life is about pushing forward

And learning when to say no

Life is now onward

It's been a while now

Time for your goodbyes

Take your bow

Time for myself to reenergize

I see life in a different perspective

I become one with society

Life seems so affective

So long, anxiety
