Dear Anxiety,

Hello, it’s you again

Stopping by for an unwanted visit

Making me feel as if I’m stuck

Stuck between I can do and no maybe the next time

Sometimes it even feels like I'm lost

Not physically lost but mentally stranded

Stranded so deep in my mind that I fear that I will never be found

Sometimes it makes me feel scared

Not the type of scared that you laugh about later but the kind of fear that haunts you

The fear of never succeeding

You see anxiety is like a heavy gray cloud that is constantly raining on my parade

It comes unknown and stays for awhile

Makes you feel as if it's going to stay forever

But guess what anxiety you will not destroy nor define me
