Dear Basketball

Dear basketball,

The long dreadful sweaty prctices make me tired

Shoot sprint, shoot sprint makes you restless but

Knowing it worth it when the clock is expired

Creates the best feeling ever in your gut.

Game days send the chills and thrills up your spine

As you step on the floor like Lebron James

Getting your head in the game so you can shine

Shooting lights out so they remeber your name.

As the fourth quarter arrives it's do or die

You can either kill them or give them hope

As the final second count down they let you fly by

Getting that last second dunk without any dope.

Even though I know it is only a game

I know one day it will lead to my fame.
