Dear Beautiful
Dear beautiful,
You were the one of dreams, you were the one that I need
You were the one that helped me be a man, the one that set me free
You’re me pulse, without you I would flat line
I write poems about you, just as a pastime
I’m looking at your man, and I notice it
I don’t mean to be vulgar, but I thoughts are inappropriate
For the unassuming viewer, but that’s not what you were
Because you were more than that, he was the winner, now I’m the loser
But the news you gave, put me in a state of emergency
I’m losing my mind, going insane, states of urgency
This news is fire, its pain, like a burn to the third degree
Because to say that you might die is like fate trying to murder me
There was nothing I could do when you said that you have cancer
It’s like someone gave me a one question test and I didn’t know the answer
But it is my job to be here when you get out the hospital
To show you all the presents and the things that I got for you
To let your mom and god know, that I’m watching you
Because what I am about to do is something that I got to do
I gotta stay here because this is not optional
When you call like At&t I am never dropping you
But, today isn’t about me, today is about you
Was going to tell you that I loved you when I saw you, but I didn’t and I was about to
Bu then I realized that you need more love and care than a house do
I didn’t know how to love and you were the one that showed me how to
I know what I’m saying is too deep and all heavy
But you’re not even gone and I’m missing you all ready
