Dear the beloved me I wish to be

Dear the beloved me I wish to be,

The me who is secure in my own skin,

Who can love me unconditionally,

The me who can bare a genuine grin.

Can I become the me I wish to be?

Accepting, pure, authentic in each way,

Understanding, righteous, and trustworthy,

And comfortable with being on display.

I have now settled the complication,

I can become the me I wish to be,

I must simply cease the comparison,

between the flawless, perfect girls and me.

Because we are unlike one another.

We can't compare ourselves to each other.
