Dear Best Friend

Thank you for telling me your secrets.
Thank you for letting it out.
I’m sorry you have to go through this,
But I’ll always be here, have no doubt.

I really just wish I could hug you
And make all your pain go away.
I wish that this stress wouldn’t bug you,
But I’m fearing that it’s here to stay.

Too bad we can’t pay for plane tickets-
We’d pack up and leave this sad place.
But please don’t stand up and yell “I quit!”
Because I know you can win this long race.

Yes, you have made some bad choices.
I know that you’re feeling confused,
But please disregard those mean voices
And remember that I’m here for you.
