Dear Best Friend

Because I love you, I'll never leave your side.

I'll be the shoulder you lean on for every time you cry.

I'll always be there for you, and I'll never make you sad.

I hope you know that you're the best thing I've ever had.

Because I love you, I pray no boy will break your heart,

and if he does I'll find him and I will tear him apart.

No guy can meet your standards; no girl dares to compete.

Best friend, I swear without you, I'd be so incomplete.

Because I love you, I'll help you through every maze,

even when you're hungry and you act a little crazed.

I'll make your favorite food, or hey, I guess I'll try.

Let's just pray it doesn't kill you, I can't let you die.

Because I love you, I'll support you all the time.

Best friend, you're amazing; you're really a dime.

I know you'll be successful, I see you at the top.

And I know when you get up there you'll never drop.

Because I love you, I'm dedicating this to you.

I'll love you forever and everything you do.

I hope that people see what a friendship truly means.

A relationship of support is easier than it seems.
