Dear Big Toe
Dear Big Toe,
Why are you just like a thumb?
But uglier,
You sit like a stub,
I really do not like you,
You big ugly nub,
You remind me of insecurities,
that only I can see,
I must keep you hidden,
You on my foot,
Knobby like a great oak,
Under socks and shoes,
No one can see,
To make matters worse there's two of you,
Four when I cross my eyes,
The worse part is,
I can't get rid of you,
You help me walk,
You keep my balance,
You are a like hand but connected to my ankle,
But big toes are not opposable,
So you are not skilled at picking up what I drop,
You can still do it though,
So I am not too upset,
Thank you big toe,
Love me
