Dear Brent,

The way you hold me near

the way we dance on air

my hand in your hand

as we dance barefoot in sand

my heart washed away and is no longer my own

there's no one like you I've ever known

your hand, warm on my hip

the music plays, afraid I'll trip

you twirl me once, then twice

then again, looking in your eyes

I don't want to go, can we dance forever?

lets not stop, never

I watch your eyes as they watch mine

The gold ring deep in blue, waiting for a sign

the music slows, then stops, and we stand

before you pull me close still hand in hand

you place your cool hands on my neck

and yours, mine, our first kiss is just a peck

then again your gentle lips touch mine

So different this time

I slowly can't help but close my eyes

I still think of this night from time to time

You say for the first time " I think I love you"

I don't answer back but I think you know i meant it too...AB
