Dear Brother

Dear brother,

 Where are you?

I look to my left, I look to my right

and you're not there...

I remember all the memories we made growing up,the good, the bad and the ugly.

I remember you were my body were my bodyguard. You would protect me from everything.

But, as we grew older, we drifted apart.

You would be inside playing videogames, while I was outside playing in own little world.

You showed me that I need to look out for myself and defend myself.

Sooner or later, I started defending myself against you.

Our brother and sister relationship was breaking apart.

You thought you were cool and I was just that kid who was lonely with one friend.

But I completely forgive you, brother.

You taught me to be independent, to not let anyone tell me I can't.

You also taught me to always keep my guard up.

If you were here with me now,

If you would visit me now, you would be proud.

You would be proud that I got accepted to two universities.

Oh brother, I miss you dearly,

I hope you read this poem and know I appericate you dearly.

Sincerely,

Sister
