Dear Cancer, how could you

Dear cancer,

How could you hurt him like that? It breaks my heart to see him suffer. To see the pain he faces daily after you robbed him of his loving grandmother. Thanks to you thanksgiving is less thankful. Christmas is no longer the most wonderful time of the year but the hardest. You’re so inconsiderate, you took his second mom and you had no remorse. You leave me at a loss for word as to how you could take so much with no cares. He’s not the only one feeling this pain as she isn’t your first victim and I’m not the only one who has none of the right words to say. All I️ can do to help the pain you bring is offer a shoulder to cry on, ears to listen, and a comforting hug. You disgust me to hurt him and others the same way.

Sincerely,

It hurts to see him this way
