Dear Carson

Dear Carson,

youre so

reckless

youre so

happy

i wish we

spent more time

together

i wish nothing but

the best for

you

you gave me

my life

you gave me

my heart

and so

im finally

ready to say goodbye

because

all good things

must come to

an end

Sincerely,

your sister

Geez, I've literally never burst into tears from the thought of someone else's loss like that. If poems do hold words with meaning, here's one for you:

Dependancy

Like a ladybug lying on its little spotted back

With its wings all folded in, its tummy striped in black

We don't last too long just wiggling on our own

It takes a helping hand to flip us over.

I don't know if you have friends or a family that loves you

But they say that there's a man with a plan up above who

is there when we feel helpless, obsolote, and on our own.

He may feel far, but I promise you, he's closer.

So when we cannot depend on our sisters or our brothers

And trust just can't be placed in our fathers and our mothers

When we've lost all faith in our friends and our lovers

there's still a love that is cathartic and gives closure.
