Dear Child,

Dear Daughter,

You were born with a mind

in a world that will try to confuse it.

You were born with a love

in a world that will try to turn it to hate.

You were born with a song

in a world that will try to change its melody.

You were born with a strength

in a world that can make you stronger.

Dear Son,

You were born with a mind

in a world that will try to confuse it.

You were born with a love

in a world that will try to turn it to hate.

You were born with a song

in a world that will try to change its melody.

You were born with a softness

in a world that can make you softer.
