Dear Chloe

Dear Chloe,

I see you.

I see the battle you are going through.

I see you crying every night, feeling empty inside.

I understand you feel like you are not worthy of living on some nights and on others you're ready to end it all.

I know you cry yourself to sleep sometimes, and that's okay.

I know you feel like everyone is giving up on you or ganging up on you, but they're not.

I know that you want to escape reality for a few minutes and only focus on yourself.

You are not invisible, I see you.

You're worth it.

You may feel like everyone does not need you, but they do.

If you weren't here, everyone would notice.

You keep them from falling apart.

You make sure everyone's good before focusing on your own problems.

You may not see it now, but I guarantee that you will soon.

DO NOT GIVE UP.

One day you're going to have a little boy or girl look up at you and call you "Mommy," and you'll look back and be glad that you didn't give up.

Everyone loves you, Chloe. Everyone needs you.

You're beautiful, wonderful, thoughtful, and smart.

Everything you're going through now won't mean anything in a few years.

This fight you're going through is nothing compared to what God is planning for you.

As D.H. Sidebottom, Craig Campobasso, along with numerous excellent authors, once recited, "Stars can't shine without darkness."

If you're not happy with yourself, then change that. Don't change for anyone, but yourself! Remember: Self love is the BEST love.

Love always,

Desiree
