Dear College
Dear college,
I am so doing you.
I take the courses and drink the vodka.
I sign up for your 8 am’s and try to attend’em.
I joined the clubs and made a friend,
Bailey from Kines and Rachel from Chem.
Sometimes I forget to shower,
But I think it gives me the power,
To stay up all night and finish that Netflix show.
Boy, do I have to go.
Its 2 am and the party’s over.
Time to make some ramen on the stove or the microwave is quicker.
No, I don’t want a sticker to put on the back of my car.
That’s where I sit and cry when things have gone too far.
I don’t know my roommate’s name
And I’ve only seen her at a basketball game.
Which I refuse to attend because its boring as hell
Maybe I should go, it’ll get me out of my shell.
But who would choose this life of education?
Oh right, that’s me.
Man, do I need a vacation
Or what do I owe the pleasure or should I say who.
Maybe it’s whom
Anyway,
I’m almost in full bloom with one year left.
That’s a joke because grad school is next.
College, I am so doing you.
But you are also kicking my ass.
Your Friend,
Chloe West
