Dear Dad

You left without warning

You left without thinking

You left without a soul

and you left me alone

I've tried to forgive your actions

I've tried to forget our time together

I've cried for hours in my bedroom

Because you wouldn't come home

I refused to let my dream fade

of the day we reconnect as one

The thought haunts me with every passing day

without you in my life

You’re fake

You manipulated us

And took advantage of us

It’s probably good you’re gone now
