Dear daddy
Hello, I am from another sight. Only here to notice my writes being duplicated here..
to this the factor remaining is, when you copy.. You forget to read and wonder of the writers
real life and experience through most of these traumatic times that may still be
being fought... So I will readmit my own writing her for the first time since I am now new and have opened an account
just to reclaim some of my writes.. Thank you A~
~dear daddy~
(a poem for Sophia) by her mother and her own experience with Terence Z)
I know you hate the things I say
When the beginning of life
Is a sweet serenade
Within time not so sweetly played
Down at the park
Showing her to catch that ball
When looking in her eyes
You were breaking bottles
Down the hall
Teaching her young
How to make life's fall
When she looked up at you
Standing two feet tall
And when you hung your head
She bowed and prayed
For a song sweetly played
~"In a time
You weren't nothing
How can you stop
What you started
Can you make it right
Yeah
If you stop the fight"~
When you never had the time
To stop and sing
Wishing you could erase her memory
Blocking the images
That make you scream
Sweet surrender
That's right take it to your knees
Going against
What your good lord means
Have you ever meet a soul
On the out of bounds
Telling her to smile
Lifting up her crown
When did she become
Just another day
Battling in your head
Everything you think you said
Only you know you forgot to to say
When you robbed from her
To steal and play
Looking in her eyes of yesterday
Wishing you could change it all
Teaching her how to take the fall
Instead of break the fall
Bottles sung breaking down the hall
Looking up at two feet tall
A song you never sang
When she bowed and prayed
Hanging your head to yesterday
Down in the park catching ball
And you watch it all
After you took it all
Looking back to hesitate
Time passes by and your too late
She's singing her song
As you kneel and pray
Hanging your head to yesterday Bottles dropped
To her sweet serenade…
