Dear Daddy

I went to see you last week

I miss you more than words can say

But the hurt gets less day by day,

I'm thankful for the memories that refuse to fade.

I wsh you were here to watch me grow

To tell me "That's my girl".

If only you could see me now

I wonder if you'd say

"You make me proud"?

I know you won't be here to walk me down the isle

But I'm sure you'll be looking down

Fighting tears, and all smiles.
