Dear Dark skin girl

Dear Dark skin girl,

It is not you that they hate for it is the

glow of your melanated skin that beams like a

Billion stars.

The braids and the mysterious

scars that left behind the beauty of an empress

Dear dark skin girl must they hate you because

of your dark brown skin

Must your own people degrade and

hate you because you are dark

The jokes you hear and the hate you receive is not good

Enough for a dark skin queen with skin the color of midnight stars

Others might not think you are beautiful

but I do

Dear Dark skin girl

Are you in pain?

Do you feel underappreciated?

You wear red lipstick and bright colored hair

You get told that does not match

You skin tone

Dear Dark skin Girl, You have moved mountains

Fought off enemies

Broke generational cures and

Changed history

There is nothing like a Darkskin girl

You are the magician with the unrevealed

Secrets

Your magic is your undeniable beauty that will

Last for generations

Sincerely, A Dark skin girl
