Dear Depression

Dear Depression,

You have built my aggression

Ever since I was thirteen years old.

I am now twenty, whose soul is cold.

You have brought me down to my lowest

Darkest place. My chest

Is tightening from the constant crying.

What can I do start smiling?

The dark fairy glided through my wrist,

Leaving red fairy dust stains that shouldn’t exist.

Depression please go away, so I can live a happy life.

I don’t want you poking me with a knife

Anymore. I am tired of the pain

Because I am going insane.

Depression please go away.

I don’t want you to stay.

Best regards, the girl who doesn’t want to decay.
