Dear depression

Dear, depression

hello agian. Yes I know about the guilt, I know about the shame.

It's be awhile, so long so long I almost forgot you were still

lurking around the corners of my mind. Its been nice having sleepless nights

wondering if you were right. Sometimes I hear your whispers dance across my skin beggging

for just one more. I hide you in dried up ink, trying to swallow happiness in pill form

but just before I remember

where I lost my train of thought somewhere down a rabbit hole under tree

in my childhood home. You remeber there, don't you?... that's where I first saw you telling me

I wasn't safe without you telling me I couldn't live without you telling me I'd die for you.

My life so broken. You took the pieces to build a glass castle to

keep me in, with only my reflection to keep me company. Well dear dear my oh so dear

depression my dear dear "life" how you won't steal more of me. I have some light and

you  are my shadow. This is just a sorry excuse of a love letter.

my love my life call me names call me love call me all of the above

I bid you farewell I bid you my life,

                                                                               with love, yours truly,

a free and occationally sad woman.
