Dear Dexter
I remember how it was when we first met, spontaneous, wonderful, new, You brought me to a place that I could only dream of. So what do you want me to say? That you kept me sane? That what we have is special? How about you scare me...that those words you whispered in my ear, now haunt me in my sleep. Our memories now blow away with the wind as night turns to mourning. I wake to find empty space and scars now open. Death is now a constant feeling since you left me here with no one to love. You turned from me when I gave you everything and you went to those I was closest.
What do you want me to see? The blood streaked tears falling to the floor? My scars which now mean nothing? My eyes, which now let me see the truth? Do you see what I do? What you did to me? I fell for you, I love you. Do you see your name etched in my heart, and the scars beginning to heal? The cracks, once started by hatred, now filling with the love that was once real. Look where we are now...friends? Lovers? Fighters? Where did we go? Tell me how to fix something that was broken, but has now shattered.
So tell me, what do you want me to hear? The I love you's have stopped. You're beautiful, I miss you all gone to a place where even nightmares fear to tread. The Fault lines are where you lie. That comfortable place where love and hate walk hand in hand is where I fall to pieces. Then you smile that sweet, sexy smile and watch our world crumble. It is there you sit and watch me breathe my final breath as you become more and more like him. You are now the killer you loved to see.
Love,
Your first victim who
will always and eternally be,
Me
