Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

I miss the old me.

I miss the girl I used to be.

I miss the girl who was free.

I miss the girl who’d climb trees.

I miss the old me.

Dear Diary,

I miss my dad.

I miss the bond we once had.

I miss the way he’d hold me when I was sad

I miss how he’d calm me when I was mad.

I miss my dad.

Dear Diary,

I miss my innocence

I miss feeling like I was limitless

I miss smiling at senior citizens

I miss the simpleness.

I miss my innocence.

Dear Diary,

I miss my friends

I miss the silly texts we’d send

I miss the night’s that’d never end.

I miss how we always knew the latest trends

I miss my friends.
