Dear Donald

dear donald

my friends and I call you donald because

we want to try and get back the power we lost when you were elected

it is hard to exist in a country that would rather we didn’t.

dear donald

just because you wear your bigotry on a red hat

instead of under a white hood doesn’t mean you aren't racist.

how can you claim to be against nazis when you were the one

who gave them

a permission slip to rally in America,

when you refuse to condemn them

because they give you money and votes?

dear donald

your country is waist deep in the sea in you refuse to believe in climate change.

will you care when you're the one drowning?

will it still be a hoax of the Chinese?

dear donald

you hate immigrants despite the fact

that our country was built atop their exploited backs.

would you allow them in if you could profit?

maybe if people bled money, you would care a bit more

(after all, their deaths would fatten your wallet).

dear donald

I would like to propose a new bill: to ban you from all public bathrooms.

given your track record,

I would much rather be in a room with a transgender woman than with you.

dear donald

if I were to make a poem of all my complaints

the length would be that of tale of two cities

(feel free to google it, I know you don't read much).

I guess for the next four years

I'll just need to pray for your impeachment.
