Dear Doubt
Dear Doubt,
It’s been a while
Since I’ve talked to you
But you’ve been talking to me
Constantly saying that the false is true
So I want to take this opportunity
And confront the issues that you’ve caused
I know about my flaws
But you need to hear this from me
Just because I’m not perfect
Doesn’t mean that I can’t be successful
It doesn’t mean that I can’t be sure of the truth
You’ve told me the opposite for the entirety of my youth
This letter is a promise
That I’m putting my foot down
The line has been drawn in the sand
I will try to be clear so that you fully understand
You have no place in my mind
So leave
Get out
A life without you will be well received
For I am fully confident
In my intended life path
I don’t need you to keep asking me
“Will you really be happy?”
You’re unwillingness
To accept my resolve
Is why along with being informative
This is a farewell letter
A farewell to uncertainty
And a farewell to your lies
For contrary to your whispers
My potential is higher than the sky
And my path is set for greatness
Something you know nothing of
You only try to pull me down
But I am now climbing high above
Where you reside
So depart from me
You’ve had a good run
But unfortunately for you
The night is over
And here comes the sun
