Dear Emily, Thank you.

Dear Emily,

Thank you.

For keeping me in line when no one else would.

For staying strong in years where you needed to fall apart.

For letting me bug you so I could grow up to be just like you.

For teaching me.

I wouldn’t be who I am without you.

Thank you.

For driving me to find my boundaries and breaking them.

For showing me all parts of your life, not just the surface.

For growing up just so that I can stop staring at my toes and start staring at my future.

For leading me.

I wouldn’t be where I am without you.

Thank you.

For showing me what true passion for something is.

For staying with me when I felt like everyone was moving on.

For answering all my stupid questions so I could learn.

For supporting me.

I wouldn’t know why I do what I do without you.

Thank you.

Thank you for being my sister, my support, my motivation, my teacher.

Thank you, Emily, for being my idol.

With so much love,

Hannah
