Dear Everything

Dear Everything

Your eyes

Your hair

Your voice

Everything.

It makes my heart flutter.

The simple utterance of your name,

it sends a rush of happiness and excitement.

It spreads a smile across my lips,

the same lips which have tasted many frowns

stopped many tears

so many times have quivered in anxiety.

Everything.

Your way of words

sweeping me off of my feet.

The late night talks.

Connecting mentally.

Talking about the unforntunates about our family

until the early hours of morning.

Your only reason staying up late was the last thing i'd expect,

me.

Before you even were you to me

before you were my everything.

Everything,

What do you see?

Even in my times of mediation

i still see a struggling soul

who deserves nothing.

The pathetic mass of sadness

crying on a bathroom floor.

Because the only comforting place

seems to be the most uncomfortable for others.

The awkward, morbid, and weird girl

obsessed with dinosaurs and music.

Jumping from section to section in band class,

trying deserpately to seem better than her reality.

Flute

Alto Saxophone

Euphonium

All a relentless struggle to keep up with everyone else

the people ment for their first choice.

Everything.

Every single aspect of you

perfection.

You chase all the fears away

Changing my view on everything.

The anxiety

Depression

Abandonment issues

They are all menial to you.

You so easily comfort the comfortless.

The sweetest thoughts of everything

the future.

the present.

the sweet.

the loving.

Telling me

Youre my Mrs Everything...

The only tears you allow are happy.

Everything.

I do not know where to start to even to begin to think i deserve you.

Your perfection reigns so high above me.

The simplest

and even the most expected actions

seem like blessings from you.

Everything feels so

perfect.

My everything.

If i can only ask one thing of you

and one only

i'd have to ask you

please

dont stop being my everything.
