Dear "Father"

Dear "father",

I don’t mean to be a bother, but I have something to say.

See you’ve been missing in action

Who knows whatever happened

I just hope that you’re okay

You’ve been married for about 4 years

And the day you got married brought tears

To my eyes because I despise the woman you love

She took the man god sent from above

The guy who was supposed to give me hugs

And be there for me

But instead I’ve been plucked from your life

Like the experience of a flea

You left me

I’ve grown many years without you

And although I knew I’d have to

I still wish you were here

I mean let’s be honest,

Who else is supposed to get rid of my fears?

Who can get the monsters I feel are near?

And when my heart is broken who will wipe my tears?

How will I know when I find my soul-mate?

I mean you left me in a whole nother state

A state of pain and heartache

With no room to fake

I needed you.

You were the best thing in my life and that is true

I needed a dad for what i’ve been through…

Those are the words I have created for you.
